TMV recently played the weenie roast for that god forsaken piece of crap some may call a radio station. (i think it's merely just marketers and advertising executives sucking satans cock for the purpose of draining every ounce of purity for the purpose of money)
If in fact the paper was the typewritten lyrics to "the widow" it does make quite alot of sense. From what I gather from what cedric said at the show along with my rudimentary knowledge of how these radio station "festivals" work, they were very likely contractually obligated to, what i would guess would be termed in the contract, "perform live" a specific song or songs.
Music being the form of artistic expression that it is, guidelines for what "performing live" actually is, can be hard to define. Thus if while the band is jamming, the lyrics to a contractually obligated song are being typed live on stage, a concert promoter (and his lawyers) would be rather hard pressed to demonstrate a breach of contract.
Therefore while doing essentially whatever they want, they are also fulfilling the requirements of their contract, pissing off the promoters and giving their fans a heck of a show. Altogether that sounds like something that really would be quite up their alley.
