Criminal Position - Unarmed

Taken hostage - be it here, anywhere city, any country. I'm going about and out. May it happen the first place or the last place I go before I make my way back home. He gets intangled in the tentacles of greed, power and evil? Unexpectedly caught in the middle of this lone man's desire of a temporary happiness. Empty your pocket. Empty your register. Empty your mind!.
While holding with the power of what was designed to give fear; I now have run out of choices and find myself frightened and confused.

Unafraid of repercussion from my mouth and a the earliest time I proclaim to him that he is being held hostage.

Inner dialouge of the man: "I too am a hostage as well?"

He, in disagreement fails to comprehend what I am trying to convey.

The other hostages are frightful or are devising their own plan to topple this fear that is man.

This prisoner of greed, now confused; begins to grow impatient of my single comment. Perturbed he turns my way. Pointing this object of fear at me, he say's laughingly: " I'm a hostage?"

Eye's attentive as if a gun weren't in my face. Calmly looking around.

"What made you do this today (or any day)?"

He proceeds to say one word, "money." Why are you here now, I question. He simply replies again the one word.

"Money"
"I'm assuming you've done this before, what happened the last time?"
"I got away, and took the life of an innocent man"

I reason with him that he is not my enemy, for I will never fear him. I see you as a criminal of no means.

"How do you live, How do you Love?. Where are those that were once close. I ask you to examine your past and make no excuses for yourself and find what could make you content or happy" (surely it couldn't be this) "But before you ask yourself that ask yourself what is happiness?"
